ENERGY STAR EliteNorth American leader in sustainability and energy efficiency optimization Goby LLC has been identified by the EPA’s ENERGY STAR program as producing the third most ENERGY STAR certifications in 2014.

An ELITE MEMBER of ENERGY STAR’s Certification Nation, Goby certified 345 buildings in 2014, and is on trend to increase their total certifications in 2015. While employing only a handful of staff, GOBY has effectively certified more buildings than organizations with thousands of employees.

In 2014, GOBY announced their partnership with Able Services, a national provider of building maintenance, stationary engineering, and sustainable building operations. Able’s client portfolio, consisting of world-class commercial real estate, corporate real estate, and multi-family residential properties has benefited greatly working in tandem with GOBY.

“Able recognized that to be the best building service provider in the US we had to deliver a robust platform to our clients enhancing their sustainability efforts and keeping them in the LEED,” Mark Kelly, President Able Services.

“40% of total U.S. energy consumption is consumed in residential and commercial buildings,” says Chris Happ, CEO of GOBY, “working with Able’s on-site engineering staff, we’ve had a tremendous impact on reducing energy consumption and creating sustainability awareness.

Able has achieved significant cost savings for their clients using Goby’s expertise and Goby’s unique software – The SeaSuite. Automatically tracking utilities data, normalizing for weather with NOAA data, and visually displaying sustainability information gives SeaSuite users the edge with state-of-the-art technology.”

Leading the market in ENERGY STAR benchmarks and LEED certifications, Goby’s award winning SeaSuite™ Software as a Service platform captures and distills multiple data sources into simple, contextualized dashboards, tasks, and reports to cost-effectively monitor, optimize, report, and track whole-building energy and sustainability performance.

SeaSuite™ users annually manage more than 300 million square feet from the cloud including regulatory compliance with energy reporting ordinances nationally, more than 300 Energy Star benchmarks, and over 100 LEED EB:O+M projects. In addition, SeaSuite™ users and buildings have collectively reduced average energy consumption by more than 20% since 2010. As a result of Goby’s outstanding contributions to energy and greenhouse gas reduction in commercial real estate, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) recently recognized Goby with a 2014 ENERGY STAR Partner of the Year Service and Product Provider Award.
