Winning Recognition at the Ballpark. In July, Vinney Calia, an Able engineer at AT&T Park responsible for rounds and readings, various repairs and responding to game day calls, was recognized as a VIE (Very Important Employee) during a Sunday game. Vinney was chosen by management because of his pro-active can do positive attitude when taking on special projects. “He is dependable, reliable and responds to all calls, no matter what the job entails. His immediate willingness to ‘pitch-in’ when unforeseen issues arise is a great attribute. His efforts along with others on our team keep this world-class ballpark in tip-top condition,” said Denise La Centra, Able Services.
