In January 2016, Marcos Aranda (above), of Able Services received recognition for providing high standards of service to PG&E’s Corporate Real Estate group. We sat down with Marcos in order to understand a little more about him and why he received special recognition from PG&E’s Corporate Real Estate group.

What is your role at PG&E and how long have you worked there?
I have been at PG&E for 5 years. I am a utility janitor with foreman experience.
Why do you think you received special recognition from PG&E?
I think my operations manager acknowledged my efforts to provide quality services and to go the extra mile for our client.
What motivates you to have ‘high standards’ of service?
What motives me are the desires to show professionalism, to do the right thing, and to satisfy the client.
What are some examples of ‘high standards’ of service?
An example of high standards of service is the team effort put in by workers and management to achieve their goals.
Is teamwork a component of your ability to deliver ‘high standards’ of service? If so, what also makes for a successful team?
High standard service can be provided by an individual but with a knowledgeable team that strives for client satisfaction these standards can be raised.
If you won the Powerball lottery and were awarded $1.3 billion dollars who would you call first?
If I won the lottery the first person I would call is my mother.
Will the 49ers make it to the Super Bowl next year?
It’s a long shot to say the 49ers will make it to the super bowl next year but I’m faithful so my answer is yes.
