Green cleaning credits toward LEED certification

We’re proud to announce that Able Facility Services has achieved CIMS GB certification from the ISSA. This is our seventh year in a row receiving the CIMS Green Building certification. CIMS is a management framework designed to help cleaning organizations develop and maintain professional, customer-focused operations. According to the ISSA, the certification is “based on universally accepted management principles that are hallmarks of success. CIMS certification also helps cleaning companies to allocate resources effectively and deliver services efficiently.”

CIMS GB is the green cleaning designation of the CIMS program. The criteria is based on USGBC’s LEED for Existing Buildings: Operations and Maintenance (LEED EB: O&M) green cleaning requirements. To sum it up, Able provides a direct compliance option for the green cleaning policy pre-requisite in V4 of LEED EB: O&M. Our certification assures our clients that we are prepared to partner to help achieve green cleaning credits toward LEED EB: O&M certification for their facilities.

CIMS GB certification recognizes Able as a professional, customer focused organization, capable of delivering a comprehensive green cleaning program. We ‘walk the talk’ and actually deliver a legitimate green cleaning program, as seen by our third party validation from CIMS.

Working together to provide valuAble work-life experiences, Able Services is USA’s largest family-owned and privately held provider of facility solutions for more than one billion sq. ft. of real estate.

Since 1926 we’ve delivered ‘Service at Work.’
